Hello everyone, this is Zach Gaylor (Registrar) with Estacada Youth Soccer. April 1st will be the opening day for fall soccer registration, and I have a lot of details to share, so bear with me on the lengthy email.
First and foremost, registration prices…
April 1st – 30th is early bird discount of $90/per player
May 1st – July 18th the price goes to $100/ per player
Any attempted registration after July 18th will be $125/ per player but also subject to availability. Just like last season, there will be waitlists for travel teams, so signing up early will guarantee a spot. If players are signed up after the roster meets its limit, your child will be placed on a waitlist and participation cannot be guaranteed.
Volunteer Coaching
Like all youth sports we rely heavily on volunteers to coach. I know that the lack of experience can be a deterrent for some, but I want to let you know that we have resources to help first time coaches and there will be a coach clinic at a later date (TBD) for those that would like to attend. For added incentive, all coaches and assistant coaches will be refunded all registration fees at the end of the season upon return of their equipment. You can add yourself as coach volunteer when you sign up your player. There is an online training that is required before obtaining your equipment, so it is best to get an early start on that.

Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grade players
Age divisions are preset in the system and can be difficult for me to manipulate at times. If your child’s birthdate is not allowing you to register under their grade level, please contact me so I can attempt to fix it. Remember, you are registering for the grade level they will be this fall.
You will notice that there is now two divisions for 1st and 2nd grade. Those divisions will still be combined when the season starts, but the goal there is to make sure that there is more equity for each team with regard to player age/skill. I want to prevent too many teams being stacked with 2nd graders and playing all first graders. I will still honor buddy requests/ coach requests to the best of my abilities. When registering, please include your child’s shirt size so that we can get jerseys ordered early and correctly.
Travel Teams
We have been told by our jersey distributor (Tursis) that our green Adidas Jerseys will no longer be continued this season. Therefore, we are selecting and working with Tursis to get new jerseys. In line with most other clubs, we are going to get Home and Away jerseys. We apologize for the added cost that will affect most of you, but these jerseys should last for several years like our previous ones. Click here to order the new jerseys.
